'Four Track Mind' - A series of 4 limited edition CD's - Volume 3
Hello All. if you want Volumes 1, 2 & 3 of the Four Track Mind Collection, you are advised to order them by
the end of the 13th April 2008, as there are only 50 of each Vol. left!!

This is where the Korg Wavestation synth turns up and things start to get strange! Songs are based around this synth and what it decides to do! Because of the Vector synthesis and amount of waveforms it can generate I`d create on it first, then make everything else fit to it. So it all got unconventional! I don`t know where I was when I did Trk.4!! Trk.5 was to become part of the song "Years ago Miles away" from my "Human on the Outside" release in 2007. So, never discount those old riffs! Trk.6 features my fretless bass, which was used on "Wings" from "Space Bandits" and was the first time any bassist in Hawkwind used one on an album. It's a nice instrument, but I prefer double bass these days. From Trk.8 onwards a Kawai K4 synth appears, it goes with the Wavestation perfectly and has a great flute sound on it. Trk.10 is a demo I did that became the middle part of "Sputnik Stan". Trk.11 is a dense wavestation doodle, this is still the best synth around for deep or dark sounds in my opinion! Trk.16 has a long jammed end unlike the Hawkwind version. Turn off the lights, sit back and relax! Trk.17 is fiddling about with a sampler, using "Born to go" "Bob`s Voice", "Shouldn`t do that" (exactly!) and "Lord of Light".
Harmless twiddling, but I never got into sampling in the end.
The 4th, and final Volume is next. - The Bass Monster!
