'Four
Track Mind' - A series of 4 limited edition CD's
- Volume 4
This
volume is the strangest of the 4! It involves lots of
experimentation with the wavestation keyboard amongst
other things! Track 1 is the demo of Greenback Massacre
I did at home. Any karaoke fans will have fun with this
version. I can't remember exactly when most of these tracks
were recorded but all are between 1992 and 2003, I know
that much! Track 3 is probably the strangest track on
the whole 4 vols. Wavestation + Jupiter 6 employed here
and unmentionables too! Track 5 is another track I'd forgotten
about until getting this project together, I was pleasantly
surprised with how musical it is for the Bass Assassin
No 2! Tracks 6 and 7 are influenced by Star Trek for obvious
reasons. For track 8, picture a pair of long boney fingers
with suckers on the end at the keyboards! Tracks 9 and
10 are purely atmospheric doodles. Track 11 features Steve
Bemand on Guitar and Synth Guitar, we did this track one
afternoon in Bath Spa. "B" is
for Bemand, he's quite a guitar player! Track 12 features
the Blue Shift sound and a synth flute from a K 4. Imagine
yourself in the game of a PC games console for Track 13!
Track 14 features a narration by John Pattison (from Wind
Of Change) of a poem by Anthony Bernstein called "Reality
Foil", a book of poems by Anthony. This music was written
specially for this poem, go
to www.myspace.com/realityfoil
for more about Anothony's poems. I hope you've enjoyed
this journey through my demo's and thanx to you all for
your support, you keep me going!!
Highest regards, Alan Davey.
