Glenn
Povey
Glenn is currenty based in Ipswich, Suffolk, and has
been playing guita, since the age of 15. His early
influences were players such as Jimmy Page and Alex
Lifeson. After performing both covers and original
material for several local bands, including 'Gunslinger',
(which featured Alan Davey on bass !) he joined the
London based 'Figgy Fox Banned'. It was during this
time he wrote the theme tune, 'Jackie', for a BBC2
documentary 'Present Imperfect'. The song reached
No .1 in the UK Demo chart. Later that year he was
invited to play guitar in the production of Pink Floyd's
'The Wall' to a capacity audience at the Ipswich Corn
Exchange. All proceeds went to the 'Save the Children'
charity. He then joined Bedouin....
